Impact:
As a Warehouse & Delivery Person, you will be responsible for executing warehouse and delivery tasks, including storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. Your primary objective is to enhance efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction.
What Our Warehouse & Delivery Person Will Do:
- Conduct daily deliveries to customers within the Boise/Meridian/Nampa area utilizing company-provided van.
- Manage daily shipping of products to customers using UPS, USPS, and other freight companies.
- Perform physical inventory picking for delivery, utilizing handheld PC connected to the server.
- Receive inventory into the warehouse using barcoding and warehouse management software.
- Physically receive and allocate inventory within the warehouse.
- Conduct inventory counts and reconciliation utilizing handheld PC and warehouse management software.
- Demonstrate proficiency in UPS Worldship for shipping client orders.
- Utilize USPS, CH Robinson, and Fleet Street websites for obtaining quotes and arranging deliveries.
- Maintain service delivery van, including oil changes, exterior washes, and interior cleaning.
- Organize and upkeep the warehouse, including:
- Breaking down boxes and managing recycling.
- Trash disposal.
- Floor sweeping and general cleanup.
- Ensuring warehouse tidiness and clear aisles.
- Managing recycle/shred collection.
- Unload inbound freight and stage for receiving.
- Keep packing/shipping supplies stocked and reorder as necessary.
- Maintain stock of extra light bulbs/ice melt and reorder/purchase when needed.
- Ensure cleanliness of parking lot and proper disposal of trash.
- Keep walkways clear and free from snow/ice.
- Ensure forklift battery is charged.
- Check door locks and warehouse lights at the end of the day.
